We had a father son duo from Jupiter Florida out there getting some fun waves. Here is the senior half, “Father Bear,” bottom turning on a pretty good looking right.
Here is “Cub” following in his fathers’ foot steps with a nice floater. This kid is pretty young and he was surfing well above most the surfers out there today. It will be exciting to see how well he is surfing in a few more years.
Here we have an unknown with a nice top turn on this left. We don’t know who he is, but we got a bunch of shots of him getting a lot of fun lefts like this one.
“Cub” wasn’t the only young surfer out there getting some waves. This is Juanito “La Mosca” De la Perra taking off on a double overhead right! Well maybe not, but it sure does seem that way when the surfer is less than three feet tall.
Luis “La Baloy” Chamorro was surfing really hard today getting a bunch of good waves like this one. He was asking the “Pledge” if he was going to surf in the contest this weekend at Popoyo. I guess he wants to face the “Pledge” in a heat in the international division!
The last shot of the day we have Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro with a strong front side snap. That’s all we got for today, the waves should be about the same tomorrow. Also, don’t forget to stay tuned for this weekends surf contest at Popoyo!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Before we get to today’s surf report, we have a big announcement to make. NSR is taking a much needed vacation – to relax, explore and most of all – surf. Beginning sometime this upcoming week, we will be leaving California and driving the Pacific coast back to Nicaragua. It’s a trip we’ve talked about..
