We are getting a little antsy and tube hungry in Southern Nicaragua. However, a few tubitos squeezed through this morning. More (and larger ones) will be coming soon!!

Otherwise, it was a chill morning. Stomach high waves rolled through and some surfers were taking advantage of the inviting faces.

Even if the waves are small, we still think NICA is paradise. The water is warm and blue, the skies are clear and breezy, and the Tonas are always cold! Besides, this size is uncharacteristic for this time of year.

Around a mid tide, the beachie showed potential. At low tide, it’s too small but the high tide is too mushy. So sleep in and slip out for a few in the morning!

In other news, the sand bars are in awesome condition! In the last couple of weeks, some strong storms groomed the bars. You’ll see their true colors once the waves come!

In the meantime, get low on your turns!! Don’t fall off the back of the wave. Or, grab a log and creep up on the nose.

The last option is grab all your friends and paddle out together. So what if it isn’t an all time session!!! You’re still with your bros.

Alright damas and caballeros, I appreciate y’all checking out today’s shots. Have a good start to the weekend and stay tuned to see the next pulse coming. Adios amigos!!

FROM THE ARCHIVES

Hello everybody. Welcome to the surf report. The waves keep kind small. The offshore wind is good all day and the best time to surf is around one to four in the afternoon when the tide is coming in. Check it out.
