My new buddy Pete from New Jersey got plenty of big waves the last few days on this quick little stealth trip.

Mark is one of the other amigos of the NJ crew. Here he is warming up for the waves back home as he leaves back home today, sadly.

This is Dillon, and the other 2 guys’ first time to Nicaragua. They not only picked the perfect time to come for their first trip since the crowds are at an all time low, considering this is our peak season, but they scored perfect waves all while staying at the amazing NSR “Casa Ola” home within walking distance to the surf. Check out the house here :www.surfnsr.com/nicaragua-vacation-rentals/261249How sick is the architecture on this beautiful new home.

Weird, but totally normal to see this place way over head one day and then this. The waves here really are for all levels. But be prepared for a good solid run of surf if you come anytime between March and Sept.

In the meantime, some people are actually glad it’s a little more mellow so their bodies can recover before this next big swell.

Won’t be long before this will be back to all stand up barrels again.

and PC will be eating surfboards for lunch.

Meanwhile, over at the airshow they had going on at the mysto left.

I mentioned we have waves for every level here right. That doesn’t mean you won’t see this micro grom out on Monday. He’s just warming up.

Can you guess who’s going bananas… Joey is of course! The other two monkeys are just killing time unitl the ski comes back out.

Seth had the right idea. 100%

That is of course unless you only brought your favorite shot board and you have to make due, like Jaden here.

Kevin can ride literally anything he wants. Anytime, anywhere. He’s that good. I wonder when we can start to see his big wave game at the Big Reefs? I’m a huge fan of Kev’s and I’m putting money he could potentially be the best all around Nica surfer once he tackles the really big stuff…. just sayin!

The beauty of small surf… you never know if there’s a secret closet big wave surfer out there when it’s small. Maybe this kid is a local charger from Mullaghmore in Ireland?

Ya just never know??

What I do know is this chica was ripping….

pretty hard, in fact.
