Wow. Today was next level guys. Welcome to an all-time Friday surf report from Colorados. If you don’t like what you see in this photo then I don’t know what to tell you 😉
Let me put things this way, today was probably in the top 5 to 10 days I’ve seen this year. Congrats to those of you here reaping the rewards of good surf season conditions.
There was more South in the swell today, so the lefts were dominant.
You, viewer, could have slain this unclaimed dragon. Maybe next swell 😉
Vinny made one of the first nice barrels I saw upon wandering down for the morning photo session.
He got so deep on this one. He was completely hidden from my perspective, even looking into the tube.
I don’t know what he had for breakfast this morning, but I need to get on the same program haha!
Not my clearest sequence, but Jeison made it with steeze. This was only his opening act though. Stay tuned for his INSANE makes.
The next wave of this set was even better. Kudos to this guy for sending it from soooo deep and hanging on for as long as possible.
He didn’t make this one, but at the other end of the pipe there was a WIDE open exit. I wouldn’t have made it from his position either though.
It was like watching a movie out there today. This guy defied all conventional logic and natural tendencies. He went right on this big left and ended up weaving through the corner with a doggy door exit just in the nick of time. Reality bending mate!

If you are a surfer and aren’t booking a trip here to get shacked off your tail, then there is no sufficient incentive for you. You want crowded and rocky Pipe, or less crowded + sand bottom Nica Pipe?

The release and relief you feel post-exit is incredible. I’m sure Jeison got his surf high in today!
To close out today’s report we have Jeison getting another 10 bagger.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
