Here’s a quick little peek at the amigos I got to spend the day with. From Lf to Rt – Daniel Bedinotte da Rocha, Eduardo Burin, Nelson Gianni de Lima &
Leandro Bielohoubek.
Mr. Nelson, or as I appropriately like to call him, “Full Nelson” taking off on a good sized nug around 8Am.
I met Nelson and his crew of amigos all the way back in 2015. He’s been coming here since then. Always glad to see you back buddy!
Happy to be surfing in Nicaragua…. ALWAYS!!!!
Eduardo up next taking off on an absolute bomb of a wave. There definitely were some nice sized set waves coming through today.
Leandro was on the hunt for any possible barrels at this here undisclosed location.
Let’s just say he found some nice shade!
Meanwhile, Mr. Powerhouse surfer and all around very “smiley” happy man Daniel had many great things to say about these new waves since this is his first time visiting Nicaragua.
Did I mention he’s notoriously always smiling. I think it’s something in the water.
What happens when you see your surfing party having this much fun? You get to decide that your surfing party is in deed having the MOST FUN!
Being that we were all on a little mini strike mission (within a strike mission) we decided to pull anchor and mozzie on over to another surf spot that just so happen to be roping!
The good thing about shooting with not only friends, but friends who surf well and have a good time while doing so… it certainly makes my day all that much better and EASIER.
Eduardo didn’t quite have time to go Zip-lining on this trip, but here he is making due by zipping past me on a 200 yard left that was probably far more better than doing it in the dark wet jungle.
I have swam at a lot of these spots over the last 7 years and I can say today was one of those bigger” days that had me working my legs out pretty darn good.
Of course its always in the name of fun and delivering the best photos I can for my amigos from the south.
I means, look at the smile. Nelson was for sure having a really crappy day!
1000 + sequences later and the guys weren’t even spent or ready to call it a day… yet.
The consistency of the waves here today were phenomenal.
Just a tad.
But like all good things… they must come to and end. At least that’s what my report time is telling me.
It was a super fun and really long day spending some great time catching up and shooting with friends. This is what we live for, so I hope if you’re here, or planing on coming here, you get to experience a little bit of this same bliss! Gracias por venir hoy ~
RECENT REPORTS
