Yup… plenty comfy!
Couple of back to back days of equally super sick days out there.
And SOLID too!
I know it’s hard to tell from the 2 dimensional angle, but the waves were about “This Wide”.
Kegging, gaping lefts were out there too if you like to go that direction.
The surf was so amazing today it pretty much had everyone looking west.
If you thought maybe my description in the into to this place being world class was being a little overstated…. come on down and see for yourself. OR take my word or my photos like this as legitimate proof.
Extreme pig-dogging here is never underrated.
The same can be said from time to time here with slowing it down a little bit, on an otherwise super normally very fast wave.
But the reward for the stall looks like this.
Big John squeezing himself into a nice little nugget right around lunch time.
It’s not fair that all man fans are not created equally. This one’s unique to an era reminiscent back to some of the best power rail surfing in the history of surfing. If you know your surfing, you know what era I’m referring to.
How often do you see waves this nice going unridden at your local surf spot? I’ll just say… it happens a lot here. Until mañana… there’s still waves going off out front. Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. I saw some of the biggest sets of the year today. There were epic moments, but it was still a bit slow between the high quality waves.
