Even though first peak was not presenting barrels, it was breaking good, showing some nice drops and bottom turns.

The barrels were a little bit to the north, not so many but definitely you had good chance of getting them them if you were on the north end of the beach.

This is Gustavo after a big drop that almost got him, nothing that he couldn’t handle though, after all, he is one of the Limon 2 top surfers.

This is Kenny with a big drop on this nice looking right.

The tide dropped really fast (or maybe I got there kinda late?) so I decided to come back later with the incoming tide in the afternoon.

In the mean time I went to see how our friend and fellow photographer Brian Scott took photos of Casa Flying Pigs, the newest vacation rental property in Rancho Santana.

It is so much fun to see him work behind the camera, how he plays with all his expensive equipment and the quality of the photos are amazing, I’ll post some of the photos here once he give them to us.

Went back to the beach closer to high tide in the afternoon and the waves were better than the morning.

There were plenty of little barrels everywhere, left or right, it didn’t matter.

By looking at the shadow you can tell how wide that barrel is.

For a moment I had some issues with my lens, the auto focus was not working properly, that why this photo got kinda blury but still it’s a good shot of this bodyboarder.

Look at the shape of this wave, so pretty! and the guy was super stocked about t.

Pancho was out playing at first peak. Look at that spray!

I was glad to see Rosa Martinez back in the water, are you trainning for this weekend’s surf competition at Popoyo?

That’s it for today folks. The conditions will stay around the same for a few days, maybe a little smaller so, get out and enjoy!

And don’t forget to buy some tickets of this amazing raffle, you never know, maybe you will have a one week vacation in one nice house overlooking the ocean!
