Somewhere in Nicaragua
Good swell today. It’s running well overhead on sets and we had offshores in the morning and onshores in the afternoon. The forecast calls for two more days of good swell so stay tuned. We went out to surf a new spot today, It’s called Playa Escondida and it’s located inside Rancho Santana, if you can get in there. Check it out.
Here is the Cowboy (thanks for the nickname Hot Carl), Mr. Unser, picking off a nice sized set wave.
Wait a second…is that, no – I don’t believe it. Folks, we have just confirmed a helmetless Butler sighting in Nicaragua. Welcome Mr. Butler!

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados. I saw the waves turn on and off about 7 separate times today. The conditions were in constant flux. It just so happened to be that the best window of the day was when I took pictures around 1:00pm.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were better by all measurable metrics today. It was still walled up and slow, but there were definitely some 10 pointers to be had.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.
