Don’t get too excited with the first photo, that A-frame could count as “fake news” because going right is a dead trap directly into dry reef… you can only go left here at Rosada.
Usually is a fast wave with some room for quick turns at the beginning but you have to keep your eyes down the line at all times to avoid getting left behind.
The inside section is where the prize is… it’s hard to find the right wave but when it comes, it brings a great long barrel!
The (in)famous Pancho Sanchez has been riding this Beast for a long time, and as you see he’s wearing a helmet which only means that this beast can throw you off and hurt you bad.
Old friends of NSR Ara and his daughter Savannah checking out the surf/ They drove everywhere trying to find a decent place to paddle out, but it was big everywhere!
This guy was having a great time, he figured out the wave and was getting some sick barrels almost every wave he got. Here he’s slowing down to get in the right position.
There you go, after slowing down he got some shade and right away hit the gas to get out without a scratch.
There he is again in another little barrel. It’s not that common to see these many barrels at Rosada.
Boogieboarder flying down the line and the lip deep in this barrel.
Suddenly a big cloud full of rain came our way but that didn’t stop this guy on his mission to get barrels at Rosada.
What do you usually do when it starts raining? you find some cover!
Today was not Pancho Sanchez day… even though he had several great rides, he couldn’t find the right waves to get in the tube. I guess you will have to surf more, right?
I know he is all for that idea, he’s all about surfing and the ocean… keeping the dream alive! Cheers!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Happy Tuesday amigos! Had a small little bump in swell today. We also had some scattered rain showers and off and on gray cloudy moments but the pattern of clean conditions remained the same and there was fun for everyone pretty much through both tide changes the entire day!
