It’s a fun place if yo like long hikes to get to and don’t mind an urchin encrusted reef break.
Locals only is encrusted with this spot. But it doesn’t necessarily need the violence to enforce it. Your surfing alone will prove your right of passage, alone.

It doesn’t take much to travel outside the normal comfort zone of some of Nica-Lands predominately more favorite zones, to find empty gems that usually go fairly unnoticed.

Thinking about what my last statement was…. this local kid hasn’t a care of the consequences.
The only way in is by buying or owning land here, (knowing someone here – which is not in your favor) or just walking in. Looks like this guy opted for option # 3 .

and the wave itself is actually better than any picture can take.
The trust is in your equipment, your surfing knowledge and of course, knowing the whereabouts.
Knowing when to kick out is also always key.
