Asher sat down south of everyone and had a peak all to himself. Fins out!

A smooth, but strong carve from an unknown rider.

Now for the barrel of the day from Philip visiting from abroad. This was definitely the gem of the morning.

You better have a snack or drink nearby because this was a lengthy tube.

He got fairly deep during the first section of the barrel.

OOOhhh! Look-ey here. Section number two opened up nice and wide for him. What a wave!

It’s good to enjoy the view, but one can’t get too complacent. Time to step on the gas.

He’s nearly made it out, but he’s gotta execute here in the final stretch. Many a barrel have been blundered at this stage of the ride.

The final moments of shade. Now he’s just gotta stay still and let his accumulated speed do the work.

Mission accomplished. That was certainly a keeper of a wave!

But Philip didn’t stop there. He squeezed in a final slash to stick a cherry on top!

Another unknown rider tucking in for some tunnel time. I can personally testify the waves were pretty fun today! A bit slow between sets, but good if you could find them.

Alrighty amigos that wraps up todays action. Usually the mirage peak down deep South is un-makeable, but I think this one would’ve been feasible. Tomorrow should be pretty fun again, but likely a bit smaller. Hasta mañana.
