Welcome everyone to the surf report for today, it’s still small and the wind is offshore. It’s running about waist high on sets but it doesn’t matter to much now because we have a big party in town today. Everybody is getting drunk and enjoying the day, we are celebrating the revolution and we have some interesting activities for today. First here is the lineup at Maderas.
Here is Juan “La Gargola” taking a nice little left. Juan drank 3 beers before he paddled out today and he was falling all over the place.
Today we had many surfers out there in the water as you could see on the first shot but we had more people on the beach getting drunk with the locals and then they all went to the big revolution party.
Here is the deal – they hang a duck upside down from a rope, then they ride by on horses and try to rip the head off the duck. The winner is the first person to do this. Check it out.
This is Ervin sponsored by NSR as one of the 12 participants. After 4 times trying (did I mention that the take all the feathers off the duck’s head and cover it in grease?) Ervin succeeded and was crowned the winner. Another victory for NSR! Check back tomorrow.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Friday evening’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell was still pretty solid today with plenty of larger sets hitting the middle-peak at low-tide and mid-tide.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday evening’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell height and interval were both notably higher today. So much so that most of the action was at the middle-peak, with less happening at the sandbars. Asher with a stylish entry on an outside right bomb.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Today we’ve got more of the same – a tad bit smaller, but so fun. This is Hot Carl on an in-between-er. Notice his starting position.
We are going to make one last comment on this and then we are going to put the issue to rest and move on. We have received a ridiculous amount of emails regarding yesterday’s post, nearly all of them supporting NSR – Thanks! We appreciate it. We would also like quell any notion that there..
