Somewhere in Nicaragua
Before we get started with today’s surf report we wanted to put up a couple of photos to let you know what NSR has been up to in our local community. This is a “School Supply Donation” which was a collaboration between NSR and an awesome group we just had down from the Chicago area (and one person from NY). The group brought down a suitcase full of supplies – pens, pencils, drawing pads, markers, crayons, glitter and all kinds of fun stuff for kids – and NSR worked with the school system here in SJDS to distribute the items locally. I can’t tell you how awesome it was to see the excitement on the faces of 32 first graders when they saw the box of stuff they were getting. Special thanks to – Hannah, Hillary, Christine, Sarah, Kate, Alex, Jeff, Pete and Tom for getting the supplies and bringing them to Nicaragua. You guys Rock!

Welcome everyone to the Monday surf report. Today we’ve got Roberto “Lucha Libre” bringing you all the surf action. The waves are still running about chest to shoulder with some occasional head high on sets. The wind is stronger than yesterday and the water was super nice. Check out this beautiful lineup shot.
Today the NSR crew made it out to the beach with some longboards. They were catching plenty of fun waves with it. Check out Pancho Sanchez backdoor this peak on the longboard.
This is our buddy Rutledge one more time, making a late drop off on this peak.
D-lite was destroying every single wave. He has been in Florida for a while, so he is stoked to be back in the water. Here we caught him with this man fan.

This is the top model of the week. Here we have D-lite holding his board and this very nice plant. Exotic! Hey buddy next time don’t suck in you belly! Alright guys that’s all for today, the waves should be fun tomorrow. Please check back. See you then!!!

Hi friends, it’s Lucha Libre here with the friday surf report. It’s still small but it looks like we are going to have some swell for the next few days. It’s waist high on sets and the wind is offshore, check out the lineup.
Another day at the perfect left point break. It was slightly smaller today, but we still had head high sets coming in. How can you not surf this? We did pack up camp and move into a hotel in Mazatlan – AC is nice!
