This is Edwin, practicing for the upcoming contest at Popoyo next weekend. It was clean and glassy most of the day and then the wind came onshore for the afternoon.

The main event today wasn’t the waves – it was the fishing tournament in San Juan Del Sur. We had over 45 boats enter the two day tourney and after a slow day yesterday, there were some monsters brought in today. Check out this Dorado.

As always, the Surfari Charters crew SUBU’d their way into San Juan Del Sur and crushed almost every category. This is Capt. Moss and the guys coming in after a long and productive second day of fishing.

Wahoo sushi is on the menu for tonight! This is Codo, winner of the “Chancho Mas Grande” category – holding up somebody else Wahoo…barely.

Capt. Moss caught a couple of big Wahoo too. Here’s one of them that was good enough for 2nd place in the Wahoo category.

Then this guy pulls up and unloads this thing on the dock. What a monster Wahoo!

But the big winners of the day were Surfari Charters taking home trophies in 6 categories. Nobody else even came close to these guys! Nice work fellas. You guys crushed it again. More waves on tap for this week so check back later. Pancho out.
RECENT REPORTS

Hey amigos! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were very similar to yesterday and Thursday. A few make-able tubes on the sets and overall playful conditions.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

OK, so long time without an update…sorry, we’ve been traveling. Anyway, still around Mazatlan with a fading swell. There’s not enough juice for the point breaks so we went looking for beach break and found some pretty fun stuff (nothing compared to the previous days though). This is Hot Carl and I, about 5 miles..
