Shout out to my good amigo Miles from back home. He’s down here getting what he came for!

Carlos Caliente had a full schedule today but he couldn’t resist a quick surf once he saw the waves! Backside in a hollow one!

Shot 2.

Shot 4.

Shot 5. Getting deep!

Shot 7. He’s gone!

Shot 9.

There were some sneaker sets that came through and broke out past the whole lineup. This one washed out a few guys but had someone been in the spot it might have been wave of the week!!

She definitely took some beatings out there but she got some healthy waves also! This chica is only 14 years old, look for her to be blowing up in years to come! If she would just stop sponging and stick to surfing!!

JJ couldn’t let his sister get all the waves! This kid is one of the nicest guys around but he’s a mean surfer!!

The heli was back today and this man inside was showing that they came in peace! Hows the view maje?!

Speaking of standing tall check this man out! In the green room with plenty of room to breathe!

Santiago from Argentina was on his way to El Salvador today to surf some long point breaks… Not before getting some fast beachbreak tubes though!

This kid surfs this wave every single day. He probably spends more time in the barrel in one week than the average surfer does in a year! Ya Lester!!!

After a long drawn out bottom turn he pulled into one of the most beautiful barrels of the day!! About 8 shots later down this wave!

While the rights were the dominant breaking direction today, there were some epic lefts coming through to those keeping an open eye. Magnum one more time in one more tube!

Lester wasn’t the only local out there. Carlos might be the most tubed surfer in Nicaragua because he also surfs this wave every day and the kid is a wave magnet! That’s all the action for today, time to get some of these olas for myself!! Be sure and check back to the number one surf report in Nicaragua, we’ll be here as always, bringing whatever the ocean sends our way… And it’s looking good!! Until then keep it real folks! Peace!

FROM THE ARCHIVES

This is Lucha Libre here with the first day of the surf contest at Playa Santana. First thing in the morning the conditions were killer, shoulder high sets, nice offshore winds and fresh water. Right around noon a huge storm came, the winds turned on and there was quite a bit rain as well. Check..

Hey folks, this is Lucha Libre bringing you the Friday surf report. Today I took a couple photos early in the morning, but the conditions were not the best ones. The wind was messing around and the waves were disorganized. It was running about chest to head high on sets and a few crowd showed..
