I’m glad I wasn’t the only (crazy) one trying to get some photos here today. This is what I call a good girlfriend.

Besides rescuing your longboard from oblivion, another good thing about small days it’s that you get to see a lot more girls out in the water. Or is it a marmaid?

After a few long minutes of waiting for waves, I decided that it was time to head back to check how Santana was doing.

And this is what I found there… little peelers breaking everywhere along the beach, and just a few people in the water.

See what I mean when I say that these conditions attract girls? These ladies were laying on the sand working on their tan.

While others were out and about catching all the waves and having a blast with them.

Of course there were not only women in the water… the regular amount of testosterone was also out there, showing some power and control on those “big” sets that appeared not that often.

Here it is first peak looking great as always, and no one even trying to catch it.

Nice little spray on a nice little wave… this guy was having a great time today.

And a few more on their way! Not a bad day to come hang out at the beach, right guys?

… to go get my son from futbol practice at Fun Limon. If you are having trouble deciding if it’s a good idea to bring your family on a surf trip, I would say that there are plenty of things to do with the kids, with our without the parents, in or out of the water… so, don’t think too much, just bring them too!

You never know, maybe your kids can become great surfers from a small age… and start surfing small and big (really big!) waves, competing around the world, and winning everything! Just like the Resano sisters… Congratulations Valentina for becoming the new Champion in Costa Rica! And her little sister Candelaria for winning the Under 12 category in Costa Rica too!

Hello and welcome to another great day of surf in Nicaragua. The Surfari Charters, Popoyo Surf Lodge, Two Brothers and NSR teams were charging the heaviest wave in central America today. The swell arrived to deliver some powerful waves. The offshore wind was strong making the paddle approach challenging. Check it out.
