We’ve got chest high waves with some head high sets and offshore winds all day today at Maderas. I can’t believe we get bummed when the waves are like this, but we do – does that mean we are spoiled?

Here is one of the three brothers who run the hostel at Maderas. We call him “Don King”, but other than that I have no idea what his real name is. He was giving me a hard time today that I never put up any surfing pictures of him. I wonder why?

Hey amigos! Josh here for the next few days. Welcome to April 1st’s surf report from Colorados. The surf was on its dying breaths today, but there were still a few good sets and pulses sprinkled throughout the day. The mid-day window had insane sun, so there were very few surfers out.
