Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Tuesday surf friends! We had some new swell energy show up today. The weather was sunny and bright and the waves were really good. July has turned out to be a pretty great month of waves!!
Rolling up and seeing this. . . always a good sign!
And the more I watched the deeper todays surfing got. Literally.
A lot of talented Mr. Ripply’s out there. . haha, you see what I did there!?!?
No, but all seriousness, the shred fest and barrels, OMG, the surfing was on FIRE today!
Just and empty barrel (nobody surfing it) full of monkeys!
Decided to take a stroll all the way up to the northern end of the beachie. This sand bar was going OFF!
Like, really, really going OFF!!! The shape wasn’t walled up at all. You could just see the bigger new swell sets coming in from way out and the back and they would jack up on this particular sand bar and the rights coming in off of it were perfect!
Looking way down where I originally started, it was almost like these two particular sand bars completely swapped for the day. And this particular kid was killing it…. lefts.
Rights. Throwing huge buckets on every wave!
This peak usually draws in the bigger sets, but this swell angle must have more west in it maybe?
Cause them rights were packing some punch!
Bauti taking off on a clean and light offshore beautiful right. . .
While wifey, Sophie and all around great people/friends from Uruguay taking this left.
Look! How many times here you see that picture perfect text school book drawing that literally comes to life here. A LOT, I would say.
Who do you think won today, the lefts or the rights?????? I think everyone SCORED!!!!!
Now it was time to head back into the jungle and go get some lunch and hopefully make it back down for the afternoon session! I will be out there once again tomorrow. Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were very clean this morning, but nobody wanted to surf at low-tide. There were still a few good corners scattered across all of Pangas’ peaks.
