Somewhere in Nicaragua
Welcome friends to the Tuesday surf report. Today’s waves were in the fun size, I’d say around waist to head high. Light offshore breezes and a good mixed amount of people throughout the day and tides.
What a nice lush backdrop to encompass this guys pretty sick off the lip floater combo wouldn’t you say.
If you zoom in a little bit, or if your lens is a tad shorter, you can walk down the beach and get a little more intimate with the surfers on their waves. Like this shot of Lucas rounding out the last portion of this fun little left.
The rights were pretty darn good too. The boat you see in the background maybe added another 6-8 surfers to the lineup, but hey…. who’s counting anyways?
We had micro-groms out there.
and Mondo well overhead sized sets the mini groms were out there playing in. Imagine that chiquita in the previous photo on this wave…. ya she was out surfing off this same peak, so she was getting down with the big boys!
We had a few fly-boys.
But this, this was maybe the closest thing to a barrel I saw out there the entire time. Quite the opposite for this wave, but some days are just better than others.
There were bigger gals out there ripping as well.
Jackson, one of the very few real locals out there amongst the guests. You know you’re in for a treat when you get to surf beside him out in the lineup.
Looks fun right? Or should I say, that right looks fun, right?
Coming off a pretty perfect bottom turn, to this, shows just how well this chica joven does her homework back home.
Empty peaks are always somewhere along this coast, this one going by totally unnoticed while two new surfers paddle out with their hair still dry.
While two more call it a day and go get ready for some “cena” – dinner! That’s it for today. Come on back by tomorrow for more surfing action for the week. Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. The surf was still fairly small today. There were moments where it pulsed and moments where it lulled out. Still clean and good for turns.
Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. The small “gap” days are here! Funnily enough there were still some mini-drainers at Colorados this Wednesday morning.
