This pretty much sums up todays surf out there. Knee to waist high at best.
If you are still pulling moves like this on 1 footers, then you have some pretty good surf game.
Clean & real clear water conditions… really warm water to be exact makes for a good time to be in the ocean.
This local kid was ripping on waves without barely any umfff to them.
Here’s some creativeness…. how about paddle over to a remote rock island on high tide and fishing from there?? If they stay long enough, they can always just walk back on the low tide.
There were some rippers out.
There were some Loggers out.
There were even some Pipe enthusiasts out there looking to get super shacked. haha
If you ever wanted to try your hand at surfing…
well today is one of those perfect days.
Even Jota says… heck YES!!!
There must be a really good deal on airline flights from Ecuador right now. I’ve met a handful of really nice amigos from there this past week. Here’s Brian, ripping it up on a small little wave. Don’t fret hermano, we should start to see some new energy here hopefully by tomorrow.
Louis will find a barrel even in the smallest of conditions.
What’s more impressive is seeing him come out of a 2 foot tubo and crack one off the top like this.
Maybe the reef was a little better at chest high.. might have to head out for a session this afternoon!
If all else fails, you can always just post up at the local dive bar and talk sorry with you buddies over some Toñas or rum. That’s it for today surf fans. We should have some bigger surf here the next couple days. Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Josh here behind the lens for the foreseeable future. Today’s report is coming from Panga Drops. The waves were pretty small again today, but just big enough for a few people to rip.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a good Monday because, if you are having a bad day, today’s Surf Report won’t help you much… waves are tiny and soft, you couldn’t believe that less than a week ago we had double over-head waves and massive barrels right at this spot.
