Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi everyone! Josh here for the next few days bringing you some mellow, but shreddable surf action. It’s been a few days since the last time we had good tubes, but this Wednesday the waves were great for working on turns.
Rutci working on her backside carves. The guy better get deep during his duck dive to give her space as she drives through the turn haha.
Finley is the all-star of today’s report. He was able to showcase his excellent precision and technique during his turns today.
By this stage, he has nearly completed his extension through his bottom turn and his board is flat as opposed to being on rail. He is set up perfectly to blast the lip and ditch the fins.
He exceeded my expectations and ditched more than his fins here. He projected all the way above the lip.
They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Asher setting up with style for the section down the line.
Carrying his style down the line, Asher chose to glide through a drawn out floater.
Finley showing textbook form. Low, toe-side rail engaged, with just the right amount of back foot pressure.
Time for Fin to rotate and slash that heel-side rail through the turn.
Mission accomplished.

A boost into the flats to close today’s report. Luckily there are plenty of shredders and groms here making light work of the smaller than typical conditions. The next two days look mellow too. I’ll see y’all tomorrow.
