Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, August 02, 2006

It wasn't that far on the map but it took us most of the day to make Acapulco. Winding through the city streets (which are not unlike Chinatown, SF on a weekday afternoon), we were certain that we were lost several times. However, after one refueling stop and getting pulled over by the fuzz we managed to find the one "recommended" hotel in our AAA guide - And, as lucky as we could have possibly been, it was the hotel directly above where the world famous Acapulco cliff divers perform. As you can imagine - Hot Carl was estatic! Although it was too late to jump tonight, we managed to meet the Lead Captian Diver - "Juan" and he agreed to show HC the ropes in the morning.

Hi, this is Roberto with the surf report for today. It's overhead on sets and the wind is offshore. We get many big barrels today and everybody was so happy. With a day like this one I can take picture all day long. Check it out.
