Carlos Caliente made it to the beach this am to get some of these low tide drainers. Not one of the biggest sets of the morning but a hollow one for sure!

This is Aura from Venezuela getting low in the spot! She came out of a tight tube on this one!

This kid dropped right into a perfect barrel section… picking his line and already in the green room!

We had some killer wipeouts down here! Check this man sliding head first down this one! How he got in that position is a mystery!

Rochelle is heading back to the islands soon but she had been loving these little sandbar drainers! Airdropping on a good set wave!

I took a walk down the beach to try to find Lucha’s secret angles. How about that one Burt!

Aura one more time showing all the boys how it’s done. This girl was pulling into plenty of tubes out here this morning!

Moving around a bit I spotted this guy way down the beach pulling into a sweet one. How’s that photo Brian!!

I hiked it down to another break and saw this man rip about 10 turns on this freight train right! It just kept going and going!

That’s all the action from today folks. The swell is on the rise and tomorrow we should have an epic surf update for you! Be sure and check back with us here at NSR to see what mother nature sends us! Stay suave amigos!~

Hold up!! That’s not all, Brian had the water camera out there this morning and scored some insane photos!! This gives you a better perspective of what was really going on out there! Carlos Caliente on this one!

A group of kids paddled out there with Carlos and were trading off tube after tube! Check this man getting his hair brushed!

This is Kellen in the sweet spot on this wave. He probably pulled into 30 different tubes out here today! Luckily Brian was out there to capture some images.

Here he is again, this time pigdogging his way through this one.. Sick little foamy barrel huh?!?

Carl was getting a little sunburned so he decided to hang in the shade for a bit! Ya Carlos!!

Another one of the guys that was getting in on the tubefest out there. Calm, cool, and collected inside of this drainer!!

Ok that’s really it for today’s surf report, hopefully you were around and got some waves today, if not then get down here!!! Good job with that water housing Brian!! Catch ya later folks!

Hold on boys, that’s not all. Down south a couple of guys joined efforts to run a successful local surf contest at Playa Maderas today and we stop by to check it out for a little while. The surf was kinda inconsistent but super fun every time we had series coming in. Chest to head high waves on the bigger sets, nice offshore winds and I don’t even have to bother you telling you about the water temperature. Check it!

All the locals put up a good show out there. La Baloy Chamorro jumped out in the water and ripped it all over the place.

It was nice to see all those guys together, making jobs and having lots of fun for sure. Try to guess who this guy is! We used to call him El Cacaste but that was long time ago and now he’s put some weight on.

There were some really fun waves coming in at Machete Pt as well. Antonio de la Perrita Juancito droppin’ into a nice looking set.

La Bestia Calderon keeps shredding up with no considerations, all that he wants to do it is to keep winning. Here he is caught taking the elevator to the higher floor with a speedy floater.

Did I mention how fun the waves were? Does anybody want to go left or right? Ok, It is your call!!!

On the last action shot we have Gainer “La Ranita” Rene Granados showing us his aerial skills. He’s improved his surfing level for sure.

Yeah Mope, keep doing your thing no matter what. Nice result! I will be driving a little bit tomorrow, hoping to score some sick ones with the expected swell. Peace!

FROM THE ARCHIVES

Hi folks and welcome to the Wednesday surf report. The swell has dropped even more overnight and is now running chest to occasionally head-high on sets. The wind is light offshore and the water is nice and warm. It’s a perfect day for the less experienced surfers and/or to try out an alternative shaped board. ..

Hola de Nicaragua! Eric here comin’ at you with the Tuesday surf report. Waves were great this a.m. with super clean conditions, head high waves (a little bigger on those sets!) and a little bit of a crowd in the lineup… But plenty of waves for everyone to get a piece of the action. This..

Hello everybody and welcome to the Monday Surf Report from NSR. Today we’ve got super fun waves (again) running about head-high on sets. The winds are offshore, the water is warm and the jellyfish have gone away. We also saw lots of rays jumping, which pretty much doesn’t mean anything, but it was cool to..
