Today’s action mostly consists of tubes, but there were still a few rippers belting lips and busting airs. I shot today’s report in the morning, but this guy is signaling high noon?

Tuck-n-roll! Rights dominated the lineup today and I got a few cool shots featuring the lifeguard flag (indicating they are on the beach with eyes on the lineup and waterline).

Finley kind of got a sick barrel here, but his naughty double knee form begs the question of it truly counts? I think he was just monkeying about on this wave, but it ended up being a better wave than he was expecting.

I mean look how deep he is here? I wonder if he was wishing he’d surfed it properly at this stage haha!

I like Finley’s face here XD Such gnar right, Fin?

Finley may end up usurping my epithet, joshhavepigdog. Just wait until the next swell comes Finley and I’m not in the whitewater! Haha!

Nacho (I think that’s his name) on a super clean right-hand runner. Blue-berry JollyRanchers for everyone!

An anonymous rider pig-dogging through a mini right pipe.

Our coastline here is sometimes referred to as the “Emerald Coast”. I can see why! Colorados living up to this reputation.

Oscar Espinoza snuck out for some waves under my radar, until I saw him bust this frontside air-reverse. Textbook form and style on display here, I’m taking notes!

To close out today’s surf action, we have a guy sitting really deep on this right’s foam-ball. He did well to pull in and stall some, but I think he may have parachuted too hard here and the next section outran him.

Get on it boys! It was another beautiful day here with good surf conditions in Hacienda Iguana. We are still waiting on some “epic” conditions to return, but I don’t think anyone is complaining too much after how flat most of July was haha! Tomorrow looks like it will be smaller, but likely still some good surfing on display from Finley and the other young bucks. Thanks for checking in viewers and I hope to reach you again mañana!

Hello Sunday, we went off campus today and scored some fun waves at the point around the corner. @tonyzphotos bringing you the days action.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Welcome back for another rainy day surf day! But the waves were still offshore and a little bit of some morning sickness early, but then cleaned up a tad more once the morning time and tide passed dead high.

Bienvenido storm chasers! Haha well, considering we had one of our gnarliest downpour rains last night (and it’s been a while since we’ve had a good storm kick in the butt like that for some time) I was eager to get out there early this morning and see how brown, onshore and overall mixed up..

Happy Monday all you dedicated NSR fans! Today was another fun day at the beach, especially right around sunset time. Lots of people came out to enjoy the scenery, however the marine layer that moved in wasn’t as vibrant as that super strong sun that was around for most of the entire day… so I..
