This guy down south was on a tear. Although this photo and wave looks nearly the exact same as the opening frame, it is actually a completely different wave. This guy was a magnet down there.

Fins out and spray fan out!

The pressure was on for this surfer here given the circumstances. His buddy shooting video was very close by, so he had to rip through this turn.

One of the only barrels made this morning. This surfer did well to find this wave and stall hard to get deep.

This surfer on the green board definitely took first place for the most powerful surfer in the water today.

Wham! A perfect backside slash from a different neon rider.

This guy was aiming to extract full value from his waves. Its gotta be done on these smaller days.

Up, up, and away! A nice boost from the surfer seen in the above images.

The rights at the middle and south peak offered up the best opportunity today. It was a slash and blast contest out there.

Fan out that spray for the onlookers and the fans!

RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Hey amigos! Thursday surf report coming your way from Playa Colorado. More fun, small to medium size waves today! This guy found a really hollow rip-current right.

Welcome back for another rainy day surf day! But the waves were still offshore and a little bit of some morning sickness early, but then cleaned up a tad more once the morning time and tide passed dead high.

Bienvenido storm chasers! Haha well, considering we had one of our gnarliest downpour rains last night (and it’s been a while since we’ve had a good storm kick in the butt like that for some time) I was eager to get out there early this morning and see how brown, onshore and overall mixed up..
