Now for today’s report…Hi folks, we are Lucha Libre and Come Pan Panic bringing you the Monday surf report from up north. The waves were pretty fun today and the lineup wasn’t too crowded. It was over head on sets, with perfect offshore wind and we don’t even have to tell you that the water was super warm and clear.
Today we had people from all over the world, from Australian to American surfers. This guy wasn’t worried about who was out and was having so much fun taking off on some sick rights. He’s name is Kevin and he’s from San Diego, check him out bottom turning on one of the many nice ones he had today. Click on the photo to see the other shots we got today!
Pancho Sanchez was able to paddle out as well, but he couldn’t get any shack today. He could get the sickest one today but he couldn’t make it around on this nice sizeable left. What a shame my friend!!!
This guy was trying to do some radical moves because he was getting many barrels early in the morning. Here he is with a cool backside snap about to throw the lip off on this wave.
Here comes “El Patito Feo” riding a nice left. Everybody is so excited about the surf tomorrow, because it’s supposed to be pretty fun out there with some over head coming through. Maybe, you guys are wondering why we call him like that. The answer, he’s a cool guy.
A couple of kids from San Diego were so excited and paddled out today to score some of the good ones. The whole family is down here enjoying the sun and the perfect waves. Here is one of them pulling into a sweet one.

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!

Bringing you the Mexi road trip report this is Carl. Pancho and I stepped outside to these Zicatela bombs. A few looked makeable…very few. One surfer was out, he caught one inbetweener but mostly watched set waves unload on the sandbar. Pretty impressive welcome to Puerto Escondido.
We still have offshore winds and we still have small swell. Check out Rex (this is Roque’s 12 year old cousin), coming off the top. This kid rips. No doubt he will be a contender in a year or two.
