Welcome amigos to the Sunday Fun Day and weekend wrap up our first week in August here. Waves were in the waist high range and not a whole lot of people out around midday. Pop on in to check it out!
Nice and clean groomed offshore conditions right around medium tide.
There were a few little barrels to be had out there, but you had to squeeze yourself into one of them if you were lucky to find one!
Living the tropical life in board shorts in almost 80 degree water. That’s what I’m talking about!

Well, he gave it a valiant effort. I think his closeout end section smash was the best thing about that wave though!
Funny thing is it’s pouring down rain now, but earlier it was so nice and sunny. Muchísimas gracias la niña for the super wet season. On the bright side, at least its super lush and green. We’ve got some new swell but its not forecast until around the end of this week, but still come on back tomorrow to see what the day has in store for us and the waves for Monday. It’s the weekend and the beach is busy! We got some lingering cloud cover that is keeping it nice and cool out. The waves are waist high as we are waiting a few more days for the next swell to arrive.
