The consistency of the sets and the perfection of the wind direction made for some fun barrels if you were in the right spot at the right time.
There was a fair number of surfers out while I was shooting, but many gems snuck through without riders.
This guy certainly has the right idea and the right line through this sandy runner.

Huuuweee. This guy is pretty deep here. He’s gonna have to slam the gas pedal.
Time to rotate and drift! You can tell this surfer is about to shift his weight over his front foot while he kicking his back foot and hip through the rotation.
There were certainly some keepers this morning even though the forecast wasn’t calling for anything special. Tomorrow looks like it will be similar, but possibly with some onshore flow. The shorter interval swell that fills in could make for some fun peaks in the morning though. See y’all tomorrow.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday afternoon’s surf report from French Fries. The wind was strong, but the direction of the wind was fine. I’d argue there was a touch more power and consistency today, so better waves.
