Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Tuesday everyone. Today we had another dose of small clean little peaks everywhere, but still looked pretty fun out there.
One thing was for certain, it was really HOT today!! Very little wind made for some sweltering heat down at the playa. Water temps are nice and warm, just like a bathtub.
As for the crowds, it was a high five and shaka kind of day.
Because it was small, I decided to head a little more north today where the peaks were breaking out a little further and rolling all the way to the beach.
Looks like my little buddy Luke made the same good call today as well.
He was catching all these fun little inside section bowls. Looks fun ya?!?
There were little mini A-frame peaks all up and down the beach. Just like this.
Some of the kids out there were surfing and ripping around having fun on these little waves all afternoon.
We even had some tandem surfing going on out there (haha).
It’s always a good day to make it a beach day, whether it’s just you, you and your misses, or you and your entire familia. I think this here is a family reunion? Either way, everyone surfing makes for a great get-a-way!
Small, yes…. but so much more better than small and closed out!
There were (believe it or not) a few little barrel nuggets to be had out there.
Some even went unridden. Dohhhh, I can imagine is what’s going through this guys head as he paddles back out.
Even some of the BIG groms were frothing out there, ripping!
I especially like seeing the new up and coming local niño’s getting out there and improving and trying new maneuvers.
Here’s a pulled back perspective of what I mean when I say, “little peaks everywhere”.
If you could find the speed to complete a maneuver like this, it shows you can surf pretty well in almost any conditions.
Young Luke knows this! Wait til he’s a teenager. That spray will be 3 times as high.
All in all… I’d have to say not a bad day of surfing, in my opinion.
Looks like the rest of the week is all downhill, or would it be uphill? All I know is keep checking back in as each day should progressively get bigger
