For an hour or so, first peak was really good, so many waves like this one came with no one around to get on them.

It was so good that it deserves its own sequence… look at that hollow left!

Even the right was working really good.

But as you might see, first peak could be kind of hard for some people, but here at Santana there are waves for everyone… nothing better than dragging your hand on the face of the wave.

My neighbor Kenny was out having a great time… he prefers playing with the rights though.

The rights by the center of the beach was definitely working. I saw some steep takeoffs once in a while.

Sadly, when there are good waves there is eagerness to catch them without checking first who has the right of way on some of the waves.

Here is another shot of an empty but perfect Santana’s first peak A-frame. Good size, right?

Hopefully tomorrow that I’m not doing the surf report, the waves will be the same size (or bigger) and then I can surf without thinking about taking photos.

Check out the style of this guy, it reminded me of Jan “El Matador”… saludos Jan and Aurelia all the way to Portugal!

Long and fun waves, so great to have Santana as my backyard!

Wyatt “El Peligay” is having a great time for the last few months that he’s been living in the neighborhood.

Another neighbor that is always here is Brian Donovan, he knows this wave very well.

That’s it for today folks, come back tomorrow to see what Bryan Scott will bring from Colorado. Viva Nicaragua!
