There was a little rain squall heading toward the ocean from inland, so I had to quickly run for cover at the beach club. Luckily I kept my gear out long enough to nab these few nuggets!

I knew the waves were gonna be on fire all day, so I headed home quickly to take care of some bizz and jammed right back. Here Diego was styling in a mid tide cover up all perfect for me just as I grabbed my camera out of my bag just as I returned to the beach.

I actually saw Oscar heading to the beach when I first made my trip back home… and as I zoomed past him, my only words were… “It’s firing”! Glad we linked up on some waves today hermano.

If you had a chance to see the forecast for the rest of this month, do so, but only if your plan on making a trip down. Otherwise, don’t tease yourself… because after you see the shots in the coming next couple weeks, you might wish you would have booked a trip. Just a friendly heads up! :)

They (I think I even heard Gerry Lopez quoting this at one point in his life) say that riding in the barrel is like time travel. If this is the case, then this guys’ taking a good look back in time. Hows that view buddy???
