Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, August 14, 2024

Josh S

Hi everyone! Josh bringing you the surf action for the next few days. This Wednesday morning we were served some fun leftovers from yesterday.

Josh S

The early risers caught the best window of the day. I kept an eye on the waves all day and can confirm that the quality waves were most consistent at daybreak.

John setting up for a hollow and thick right. He got a quick barrel on this one.

Josh S

Lock ’n load! This guy had to really fold up for this one.

Josh S

This guy better step on the gas! He’s gotta pull up and under that next section.

Josh S

This wave might’ve been the best of the morning. This surfer ended up being slightly too deep, but he enjoyed a pretty sweet view for a few seconds.

Josh S

This young fella was moving so fast he out ran his own spray ring.

Josh S

Textbook air-reverse from this shredder. His fresh Sharpeye looks really nice! Nothing like riding a fresh stick.

Josh S

Team goofy getting some points! I like this guy’s body mechanics here. Good rotation and rail engagement for this turn.

Josh S

His follow up turn was pretty good too, but you can see that he left his line of sight down the line as opposed to having his vision lead with his right hand.

Josh S

Bauti cruising through a beautiful outside right set. Nice work finding this one Bauti!

Josh S

A picture perfect air-reverse to close today’s report! The waves were fun today, but the swell faded rapidly. I expect tomorrow to be fairly small, so I would expect to see more folks on fish shapes and longboards tomorrow. Hasta mañana.
