There were a few people out. Emiliano was one of them and thankfully too. He can rip in perfect conditions AND in bad conditions as well.

Maybe that’s because his home away from home other than Nica is California and he’s got to be used to surfing onshore waves, because it’s onshore there a lot… I would know, I’m from CA too!

Ok, so what do you think is going on here?A. Alvaro is protecting Jett from a really big set wave coming in quick on that high tide?B. Alvaro is carrying Jett in from the surf getting him ready for when he starts winning contests?ORC. Alvaro is practicing his midget tossing skills?

If you guessed C. Midget tossing skills, you would be correct, and what a better activity to do at least while the waves and weather are complete crap!

Goodbye sunny skys! The rainy squall and weather from all that low pressure system off the coast has made its way here.

For now, it’s like this.

And this. 🙁

Don’t get me wrong, there are waves. They’re just missing the one element here that make this place to lovable!

I could sell someone on this shot as being a pretty cold surfing spot. But it’s actually really warm…. warm and super humid.

In fact the waters so warm I think it feels warmer than the outside air. Check out this dude nabbing a nice right with an actually pretty decent little corner on it.

His lady friend here doing the same thing. Thank you power surfing couple for giving me and the fellow readers something to look at for todays surf report.

Emi on his third or fourth turn on his last wave of his session.

HEY Alvaro…. watch OUT!!! You have a monkey on your back! Jajajajajaja

That’s it for today amigos. Let’s see how the morning turns out. Hopefully if we’re lucky it might be glassy before it goes back to onshore. We’ll be crossing our fingers. Thanks for stopping by! Cheers ~
