We’re looking to be in the 2-3 ft zone for the next few days, until we get our next good swell, which should jump back up into the 6ft + size this weekend; and should stay that size for the next couple weeks on. This is definitely a good time to stretch the mind, body and ojos and do some non-surfing downtime activities.
Mr. Rob Limacher making the best of these fun little waves.
We had a pretty big fat high tide (9.1ft) to be exact mid day today, which was making for some interesting take offs.
Kevin made these wonky waves into his own personal little skatepark out there. Slashing and punting all the way to the sand on pretty much every single wave.
Katie, always all smiles and ready for a surf. Go get em katilaflora
Nice little shampoo on the inside! (haha)
Today felt really tranquillo out there. Only a handful of people out enjoying the beautiful weather we had.
Grant making time in-between his busy day to get a few waves in. Nice carve buddy!
This unknown surfer got the longest wave of the day. He literally snagged this thing from way outside past Casa Colorados and rode all the way across to the inside right at the river mouth.
John had the completely right idea for board choice today.
Just cruising on that big ol’ soft-top log. Looks so FUN, I might have to find me one of those while we have some downtime surf here.
Kevin on his 57th punt of the afternoon.
Not a bad day even when the surf is this small.
Well, sometimes the ocean goes flat. Its mother nature, what can you do?
Hang in there for a couple more days and we should be back to our normal size Nica-Fun-Land waves again. Maybe in the meantime this is a good time to plan a trip to Ometepe and see some volcanoes, or go zip lining or just get out and see some of the other beautiful people and countryside of southern Nicaragua. You can see a list of things we offer that’s not just surfing here:www.surfnsr.com/pages/always-something-to-do-in-nicaraguaOR you can stop by our newly finished surf shop in downtown Iguana or contact us directly herewww.surfnsr.com/pages/contact-nsrand let us dial you in with some extracurricular activities while you’re visiting. There’s a lot to do and see out there!! Until we meet again this weekend… Adiós cuidate!
