Like I said, some patches of rain made for some funky conditions. Still somehow there were barrels to be had. Check out this lucky guy hiding tucked into a little barrel.

There were some random ramps coming though. This ripper is making most of the conditions.

The left looks alright, but check out this right throwing nicely on the bars.

This guy came flying down the line and glided (or should I say floated) over the closeout section. Nice one amigo!

Some waves offered a nice rippable wall. I wonder what’s going through this guys head?

The disorganized swell threw nuggets out at random. Even with a packed lineup, many sneaked past the surfers, but this A frame should have gotten ridden!

This surfer found a sweet little corner to set his fins free and let the spray fly!

Never a bad time to work on your pig dogging. Go deeper!

Recently the river broke through and connected to the ocean. Maybe we will get more sick sand bars! That’s all for today my barrel hunting friends. Unfortunately, the forecast is looking meager. It has been and will continue to be a pretty flat August, which is not very normal for here. But then again, nothing is really “normal” with the weather. I hear it has been a lake in California, so be sure to check back for tomorrow because the barrels are small, but at least we got some. Cheers!
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. It was another small, but fun day of waves. Looks like the last mellow day for a good eight to nine days. Finley managed to find a couple of tubitos.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Hey everyone, Brian here again, bringing you the action from the beach here in sunny Nicaragua. Swell dropped a little bit today, still some fun waves coming in around waist to chest high and steady offshore winds. I’m sure none of you would complain, even when it’s small here you can still have more fun..
