TGIF because the weekend swell looks like it’s showing up a little early! Wahooooo!!!! Come get a look.
If these are the front runners, I’m super anxious to see what we’ll have in store for mañana!
Happy people post-coffee, or maybe no coffee at all. Just a little wax and they’re out there!
Of course watching this as you prep your surf gear… makes you move a little quicker than normal.
When I got down there, it wasn’t too big, but as I watched it, the swell grew with about every 4 or 5 big sets throughout out the entire morning.
A lot of waves even went by unridden. What a pitty.

Total commitment type two. They both deserve applause because the end results don’t feel too nice.
The reef grew some teeth today.
and if you’ve never surfed the reef, you will most definitely at some point get to experience this not so fun dilemma. Just a friendly tip…. if you surf here when it’s big you WILL NEVER EVER be sitting too far out the back. EVER!
There was some carnage out there today too…
But this was all I saw. A broken leash/string is WAYYYYY better than a broken board tho. I’m sure we’ll see lots of that tomorrow.
Like I said, the swell was still growing even as I left the beach. So tomorrow should be full on… hopefully!

Hola amigos!!!. The swell still giving to us some shoulder high waves. The two peaks still working good with the rights working better. The lefts are short and rolling soft. One have tubes the other is soft for easy turns. Check it out.
