We had some short period windswell in the water today and so it was super peaky and there was lots of rideable waves. A few thin-lipped barrels were to be had by those who got themselves positioned behind the peak.

Our other Carlos, was out there as well picking off some beautiful rights. “What to do next? Set up for the barrel or a big turn off the top?”

They must call him “Caliente” Carl for a reason, he was on fire today. Can you say “barrel fest”!

A few other guys made it out just in time and were making some nice barrels down the beach as well.

Mr. Caliente didn’t have to do much searching out there today, the barrels were finding him! Backdooring into the green room. Yew!

It was so good out there that some guys just wanted to enjoy the view. I guess Carlos “Caliente” was putting on a show.

I think this guy was practicing his crash landings. I think i could do better. Well, that’s all for today everyone. Hope to see you in the water tomorrow. Adios!

On a final parting shot for the day we are posting a shot new friend Bradie Shemke sent in. Bradie has been in the water the last few days with a go pro getting some sick new angles. Thanks for the post Bradie!

Wait, ya’ll we’re not done yet. The sailfish SLAYERS over at Surfari Charters just sent in this late in the day entry. It looks like Captain Jimmy fighting a beast. SUBU!! Hasta manana.
