Somewhere in Nicaragua
The day got started with the 4th round of the open division, where we still had alive our friends Rex and Augusto. They both did great in this round and successfully made it into the fifth. This is La Bestia Calderon doing his thing first thing in the morning.
The ladies division got started today and they also put a nice show out there. This is Sonia Garcia from Panama just seconds away from fun.
The Open Division was commanded by Ticos, Argentineans, and Venezuelans. Marcelo Rodriguez is caught here doing what the judges want him to do. Hit the sections right in the pocket.
The day kept going and going and the show was getting better and better. Huge airs, killer floaters and gorgeous slashes, were some of the many killer moves we saw the whole day. That’s a man fun spray!!!
It is nice to see how all those guys can rip waves with these kinda waves. Usually we do not get to surf this, because we are very spoiled and like to surf with killer offshore winds.
On the last action shot of the day we have Sean Pearson going big with a sick backside 360 aerial. He is representing Nicaragua in the juniors division. He had two sweet heats today and he is ready to kick some ,,s tomorrow. We still have Rex, Felipe also in this category alive.
