I was actually out shooting the last couple days with some friends from Uruguay, here’s one of them, Federico (aka Fede) who absolutely scored being today was their last day here.

If you’re here right now, but if you weren’t out there sometime between sun up and sun down, today was one of the best days we’ve had here in quite a while.

There was some new energy out in the water this morning and with it came a lot of THIS!

So many barrels out there this morning, it was absolutely firing!

People were frothing, literally, throwing massive amounts of buckets of water of joy, showing how grateful they all were to have big heaving barrels back again!

I edited maybe about 75 shots alone to choose from for the report. However, it got so late, I had to trim it down so that I can not only get some rest (it was a crazy long day) but I want to be on point again for tomorrow if it’s this good again tomorrow.

I mean from sun up, there were A-Frame peaks galore all the way until this place finally slowed down a little (just a little through the low tide).

Here’s one banger of a mini sequence of my man, Derek, with a super heavy drop in,

pulling in to a super heavy bomb….

to this complete coverup…. which went on for a while….

and came flying out like he’s done this a few times here. This is just one of the many many barrels that we’re made out the this morning. It was super sick!

I had to go unload all the shots I had from the AM session, but it was a guarantee that I would go back on the tide coming back up, so I headed back down around 3-3:30ish… and it was still super good!

My buddy Juan or better known as Chuleta getting in on some of the action in the afternoon since he missed the morning sesh, unfortunately. There were still some bomb sets coming through, but the early and late morning was pretty much all time!

Rafa soaking up some of his last waves at last light before they head out early tomorrow. I think they’ll have time to squeeze in one last super early dawn patrol before taking off.

Merlu had some pretty amazing waves all day. But this evening glass off was pretty incredible. If this was my trip and I had waves like this on my last day, I would be sooooo Stoked! Andres was stoked and completely beat with how many waves he caught the whole trip, mainly from the last two days!

Adíos amigos! It was good to see you again and I can’t wait for your next trip back to Nica-Land! Safe travels if I don’t see ya out there in the AM….. otherwise, I’ll be looking for you in da tubos!!!!Buenas noches a todos ~Remember, even if you didn’t make the highlights you can always look at the link here for all theDaily Surf Shotsfrom each day, there might be a good chance you’re in there!AND don’t forget to follow us and always check out our current happenings on our daily Instagram stories hereNSRor my photography hereNica Surf Shots
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Colorados. The new swell is here! Looks like we are back off to the races for the next seven days.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Wawawewa! Is that a word? Idk but that’s the best descriptor for today’s conditions. It is freakin’ beautiful out and the waves are pumping. Young Jackson Dorian rated it at least a 9 out of 10 day, and you know he’s seen waves all around the world. Today def warranted a Land, Air, and Water..
