Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hola y feliz Lunes!! It’s a new week and another fun and sunny day of waves. Looks like we are on a roll here for some good times to come! Hoping this beautiful weather and nice waves continue to impress for our September, but then again, we like to take it just one day at a time here. So hope you ENJOY todays goodness!
Catching the angles in surf photography is always key… getting a couple different angles from different people is winning! Dario on todays surf report and on some cool ladies IG – Insta Story which may possibly have 100K followers. Dude, it’s your day to be famous! Jajaja
The crowd was pretty thinned out by around 10:30am, which was when I went down to shoot. Luckily for Emiliano our paths crossed today, so that I could catch him doing his thing.
Although much of the pumping swell from the weekend subsided (I think it’s Monday’s fault) you can see here that there were still some decent sets out there.
Magic Mike’s been loving his Nica home waves ever since his last trip back down only a few weeks ago.
I enduringly call him “Magic Mike”, because he’s like Houdini. The guy can come and go sans zero problems all while there’s extremely strict travel restrictions and problematic boarder crossing and entry the global over.
Colin eyeballing that huge rock to float right over! Lol
The emerald lush green coast of Nicaragua is going to be pretty green for a while, I think this year!

I think it was an even tie for surfer of the day out there between Emi and Dario.
I might have give Dario a few extra points for going above the lip on this one though!
But then again, Emi, doesn’t give up that easily…. check out this 3 shot sequence of him absolutely destroying this helpless defenseless left.

WHAAAAAAAPAHHHHHHOWWW!!! Yea buddy, ok, it’s definitely two first place finishers today! I’ll give you both a half a banana and an abrazo for surfing so good amigos!
Speaking of love and abrazos…. As much as all these photos for the last few moths have been such a love hate thing for all you very dedicated surf fans to look at day in and day out… just know that we’re all here waiting ever so patiently with open arms (like Marvin here) for your return back to Nica-Land!!! We miss each and every one of you and cannot wait to see your shiny happy faces once again…. and SOON!!!!! 🙂
