Hey everyone, I hope y’all had a great Monday. Here’s today’s surf action from Playa Colorado. The swell has dropped noticeably, but there were still fun waves to be had.
Jackson Obando, one of the better local surfers from this area, getting clappy and snappy with this speed check-turn.
Further North up the beach, this guy was getting laid back. He displaced quite a bit of water here!
A graceful smooth carve from this mystery surfer on a super glassy left. Lucky guy!
Brett Harrison showing off his rooster tail game this morning. Brett has a mean frontside hack in his arsenal. I wouldn’t want to be in a heat with Brett at a left hand point break, he’d blast me to bits haha.

BAMM! A quick blast from Lesther, Oscar’s older brother, to close out today’s surf action. The local boys dominated the lineup this morning, well done fellas!
Here’s two happy campers placing bets on who will pull into the most barrels today! What’s not to love? The waves have been really fun lately. I do think our epic run of surf will slow some tomorrow. I expect fun waves, but not as epic as the past few days. Either way we’re blessed here in Iguana and are happy to get anything at all after a slow July and August. See y’all mañana!
