The rights were working better than the lefts at Santana. Here is Uri, enjoying the front side turns that a regular footer can’t have that often.
Finding a consistent right here in Nicaragua is almost impossible so, when they appear everybody go nuts about them.
It’s great to see some female action once in a while here at Santana, besides the regular girls I mean.
Second peak was throwing these A-frame waves that looked super fun.
Here is Elyin Guzman aiming where to hit the lip of this beautiful right.
Elyin is known between the locals as “El Pro”, he’s one of the best surfers in the Santana community.
He represented Nicaragua in a few international events a couple of years ago. Can you tell he is good?
I don’t think I have ever taken so many photos of rights in a day at Santana!
Another perfect A-frame with Elyin and this other surfer playing mirror.
Both going with a deep bottom turn right after the taking the wave.
Both going for a big roundhouse right at the lip.
And both throwing a great amount of water behind them. They couldn’t be more synchronize.
And talking about synchronization… I found a couple of turtles going at it right in front of the reef near first peak.
With your couple or with a group of friends, playa Santana is really fun to be.Check out the properties we manage inside Rancho Santana, remember that Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year holidays are coming, contact usif you are thinking about coming soon.Have a great Friday and an even better weekend!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hello everybody!! This is Parker welcoming you to the surf report for Southern Nicaragua. The waves are down (but still fun) and we have some pretty shots to show off. Miren mis amigos!!
One of the best wave working today was this left with long line and good size to make maneuvers. Here this visitor is looking the lip of the wall to make a trick. We see what he have to show!!!…
We just got some sick shots from our friend and local photographer Rick Briggs @donde_x and we wanted to share them with you. The winds were light offshore and the swell continues to fill in. Local charger Manuel Resano took advantage of the good conditions and locked into this beautiful beast.
