Somewhere in Nicaragua
BienvenidO amigO’s! Tuesday Bri here and this is what I rolled up to see blasting away up and down the beach. Humo y espejos chavalos, smoke & mirrors! hahaha OR is it? Pop on in to find out!
You know this place and it’s “Magic Window” days…. well today was one of those. Showed up, right time, tide, and winds were the best for that magical window for today!
Rico’s been here for over a month, but sadly today was his last day. He knows how this place functions and like the two of us and between many others, we can all agree this season has been funky, but super sweet!
It’s been ALL ABOUT THE TIMING!! This guys timing seems to be pretty spot on for that upcoming section.
My good buddy Eric (aka “Rico”) has been coming here for a long time now.
Here he is putting his surname “Fleury” in full commitment (even with that knee he’s been mending the entire trip while being here….. “Rico” putting the FURRY in this proper man carve! Yeaaaah hermano!
Offshore mayhem and bathtub temp water, it’s like those weird chocolates that have Jalapeños or bacon in it. . . they just oddly go so well together!!!!
I read today that IG took down the ever so popular infamous “Kook of the Day” page. Zuck, come on man, don’t let your poor surfing ego ruin all the fun for the rest of all us real surfers. Btw, this guy’s not “kooking” anything up except showing the real kooks how to smash a wave properly!
A lot of barrels still out there, even tough, I have to admit that yesterday was even better.
Colin. Not a Kook! Maybe a Cookie monster, but never a kook! Jaja
KC speed lining it, full pedal to the metal.
And that’s how you deliver that much water to the pack on the outside. Speed. It’s all about that speed amigos!
The only other mystery, besides our occasional mystery barrel surfer is, is this going to a repeat of that epic “September Sessions” year we had a couple años atrás?!?!?
Anyone care for some really empty, super unpredictable (definitely get the shot of your life at this beach break – if you pull in) ever so tempting wave???

Hola and Welcome back for another one of our Happy Sunday Fundays here in the land of green! That’s right, lots of rain all night and that lush rainforest is looking thicker and thicker while the waves were greener and greener!
Happy Friday everyone! Today was a very calm day here in Nicaragua. The waves were small and soft, a great way to stretch the muscles and get ready for the weekend.
