Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. The surf has dropped some yet again, but it was super rippable today.
Lesther leading today’s report with a nice lip blast.
Bauti getting his hands up high to the sky on this right peeler! Style to the max amigo.
Yuji is so light he just flies right across the wave face. So when he does a top turn he wipes that speed off into spray.
Fly like the eagle Yuji haha! I lift my arms up super high on my airs too.
A nice coiled up backhand snap from this mystery rider.
This young shredder won today’s combo of the day award. He took this right to value town!
Wiping off some speed and setting up for the third turn here on turn number two.
For the finale move, he pushed through a solid roundhouse cutback. He looks slow in this frame, but he displaced quite a bit of water and smacked the whitewater corner pretty hard on the rebound.
Lip-line tail slide! Good timing and choice of maneuver from another young shredder.
Oscar would probably whoop my tail in Karate! He was chopping up tons of sections out there today.
Lesther trying not to be outdone in karate chop blasts by his brother Oscar. The Espinoza’s cleaned house today.
I bet Bauti was wishing he had his standard shortboard here… Still great style here!
Oscar not only knows Karate, but can imitate helicopters as well! Spinmaster 🙂
Heyner lifting off as well. I bet he’s knackered out from getting tubed like the Espinoza’s for the past four or five days straight!
Oscar just prior to throwing up a big rooster tail. I like how his board’s color scheme matches the Nicaraguan flag that you can see painted onto the boat in the background.
Yuji’s looking so serious! I bet he’s focused on getting himself prepped for some big low tide drainers when the next big swell comes, looking like sometime around the middle of next week.
