Here’s one of them (as pictured in the first image – taking off) This poor guy definitely got his lickings, but took it like a champ!

Ohhhh the potential and complete difference this wave would look like if the winds were going the other direction.

See… it looked like there were a few makable and semi-clean ones out there….

But this is more of the reality of how it really looked. And it was a lot bigger out there than it looked from the beach.

The beach was full of weekend vacationers, enjoying their last day before going back to the big city and work.

Even the outside indicator was showing some signs of life way out there. Which is also a good indication of how much energy was out there…. and I hear its supposedly supposed to be bigger tomorrow too???

Hmmm…. see there’s the only two amigos out there. That wave doesn’t seem all that big or crazy, but just wait…

Here’s this unknown dude one that same wave after dropping in. Well, WAY overhead!

And what most people don’t know or actually appreciate is that the onshore waves have a heavier punch and hold down that comes with this kinds of conditions. This guy surfed this big chunky mess of a wave pretty well!

Liam, my little (big) buddy on the right, merging with the guy on the left…. I think this was their cue to come on in.

No real way to get over or around all this closeout and a lot of water moving and pushing everything with all its might towards the beach. This guy opted for the hail mary kickout! jajaja

Well, since my show was pretty much over, I noticed these people were fixated on their own different show going on way off in the far distance.

Ahhhh – that’s what they and everyone else was looking at from the beach. How beautiful as the sunlight came out for just a moment, before the timely later afternoon rains came in to finish off the day. As always, thank you for checking out todays surf report. I will see you all back here for the Monday report. Who knows, maybe it will be clean and glassy in the AM??? XX Crossing fingers ~
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. It was another small, but fun day of waves. Looks like the last mellow day for a good eight to nine days. Finley managed to find a couple of tubitos.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Hello hello folks and welcome back to the daily surf report from here in Nicaragua. It was raining pretty hard this morning and all night so I was worried that the conditions wouldn’t clean up but fret not because around lunch time the sun came out and the waves got pretty good. Come check out..
