I visited our nearby northern reef break because it magnifies the swell a little better than other areas. Also, the reef allows the water to stay blue even at low tides.

Yes, a longboard was a safe call to score some rollers. However, our surfboard quiver has plenty of shortboards with extra thickness to help you draw lines and practice turns.

For only a total of 6 guys in the water, I can settle for a smaller rolling right (for the time being). The weekend forecast shows the swell building a couple feet!

This guy was cruising in style and picking off uncontested lefts all morning. He made the best of it and smiled all morning despite the lackluster conditions.

Mi amigo Jose loves working as a gardner because he gets to surf before work and during lunch. Today, he said he’d rather take a siesta and dream about how the waves were last week.

On the other hand, Fransisco is learning and enjoying the softer waves! If you’re learning, let NSR hook you up with a surf lesson.

The coconuts are finally ready! Grab your shades, a beach towel, and splash of Flor de Cana this afternoon!

Ok guys it’s lunch time for me so I’m going to grab a funboard and go catch a few rollers. Thank y’all for checking out our report and stayed tuned for some head high swell this weekend (fingers crossed!). Adios amigos!!
RECENT REPORTS

Hello Monday, The swell continues into today with some cleaner conditions. There were some long waits, but for the few patient people in the water there was some glory to be had. @tonyzphotos reporting.

Good afternoon and Happy Sunday. We saw a nice jump in swell today from yesterday. @tonyzphotos bringing you todays action.

Hi everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell definitely began to fill in today. The main challenge was the wind and extreme tides. This morning the tide was low, and the swell was just starting to fill in, but the wind was favorable which was good.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Hola amigos, Lucha Libre is here signing in for today’s report. We had some good energy in the water right now and that brought us some killer action at the outer reef. Solid sets were rolling in, winds were nice offshore and the water was great. Check it out!!!

Hola amigos, El Codo Lopez grabbed the camera today and he made it out to get all the action. The waves were super fun as you can see, head high plus waves on the bigger sets were rolling in, nice light offshore winds but the sky were overcast. Check it out!!!

Hey everyone! Brian, back again, bringing the report for this Sunday afternoon. The swell definitely dropped off from yesterday, but there was a little window this morning where some grinders were coming through. Mainly chest to shoulder high and light offshore winds and a little inconsistent, but if you could find that one wave, you..
