Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, September 18, 2024

Josh S

Hey everyone! Josh back again. Wednesday’s surf report is coming your way from Colorados. The waves were very clean this morning, but there were surprisingly few surfers out.

Rights dominated the lineup this morning. At low-tide the sandbars have favored the north peak, hence more rights.

Josh S

There were a few really nice and open lefts too, but they were scarce when compared to the rights.

Become one with the barrel!

Time to find some sandy shade on this right that reeled through slightly further South.

I came back in the afternoon to capture more surf action, since nobody seemed keen on low-tide mini-tubes. This surfer clearly mustered up a good portion of his strength through this turn!

Kevin making marginal conditions look really playful! Kevin takes such smooth lines and is doing a good job representing with his Stretch board!

Josh S

Kevin doesn’t miss a beat (or section) during his lines on his waves. The crowd was light and he had a peak all to himself, so I bet he enjoyed the session.

Josh S

This guy making good work of a soft section using a slightly beefier board than he would normally ride. On the small days it’s all about having fun, keeping the wave count high, and ensuring you’ll be able to maintain speed on your board.

Josh S

That wraps up today’s action from Colorados. Tomorrow’s forecast looks nearly identical to today, so I’d expect to see some similar conditions mañana. Thanks for checking in and have a good one.
