Pretty fun waves in the afternoon. I heard it was better earlier, but couldn’t make it down sooner, but I watched the sky like a hawk, making sure it wasn’t going to do its (what’s been pretty normal – afternoon rains), I got down to the beach a little before sunset time to find a good amount of people out enjoying the beach, horseback riding, surfing, and playing with their families and kids. This hombre was in for the arvo PM sesh… who knows, this is probably his 3rd time surfing today.

I don’t know what’s more impressive in this photo.. the guys bottom turn or this random dude’s super interesting duck dive technique?

Swell looked like it went down a bit, but there were still some heavy looking lips out there waiting to be kissed…. that is if you didn’t pull in, in time!

Some nice surfing and style out there today for sure!

As we head into our slower time of the year here, it’s hard to believe how quickly this season has flown by. But that’s not to say there’s still not a bit of time left for anything to happen.

i.e. We could get plenty more swell before September is even over.

In the meantime, as long as there’s waves, there’s always going to be people out there surfing. Hopefully PC will be working for as long as the swells will allow.

This ladies bottom turn showed that there were equal amounts of talent out there in the water today.

And since it was such a nice day, we’ll count this guys cutback and amount of buckets of water he’s hucking as todays precipitation (the only wet weather we’ll probably see today).

Just another Sunday in Nica-Funday-Land. For most of us its back to work Monday, including myself, as I will be doing the report, so come on back by and check out what I get for tomorrows action.Nos vemos ~
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still head-high waves on the sets, but it was a wait between the stronger sets. Keith setting up for a left set-wave here.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados. The wind was onshore again today, but it was actually cleaner than most of the day yesterday. At least it was more manageable.

Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The swell head steady from yesterday, but unfortunately the wind got on it by 10:30am. There was an afternoon rain shower and I came back around sunset after the rain to find that it had cleaned..
