Carlos is always all smiles, especially whenever he’s bout to surf.
This might also be why he’s so happy. Hardly anyone out and waves that look like this.
This guy’s going for the maybe yes, maybe no, barrel. Like they say, you’ll never know if you never go!
Carlos get’s barreled and he’s not even in the water yet haha!
The “Super Grom” hermaos were out…
Ripping.
We even had some old timers out there. haha!
and of course the regular local crew….
Shredding!!!
Kinda hard to tell, but here it’s actually raining. Still super clean conditions.
Carlos de Colorados steezy bottom turning on his 5’ 7”, not a drop of water out of place, except for the rain.
If you see Carlos doing a bottom turn, like in the previous photo, you can almost guarantee he’s about to either pull a big air, a big floater or a big layback hack. Here’s you can see he opted for number 2.
The local boys were exploring some new sand bars down the way. Sand bars that look like they offer up a little different kind of ramp section. When it’s small, you get creative. Here’s Oscar getting all Steve Jobs on this helpless little wave.
This is what it looks like when Carlos opts for number 1.
Literally, the three amigos!
Literally, this was all of the people that were out by the time I left today. And yes, the waves still looked like this.
Would you surf this all by yourself, or would you prefer a couple of friends join you???
This bird says… where’d everyone go???
Ok, I guess we’ll have to just leave these fun little waves all to themselves until tomorrow. See you early in the AM you perfect little glassy A-frames. Abrazos y besos ~
