Somewhere in Nicaragua
Top of the mornin’ to ya’ll!!! Well, I tried to get down there really early to see if I could maybe have a chance at beating the onshore winds, but they just won’t let up. So I think it’s gonna be another lay-day for surf, unfortunately. The good news is things should be switching back around come end of the week! Keep them fingers crossed!!!
Here’s a little ghetto style panoramic of our little stretch of beach, end to end. And as you can see, not a single person out and the weather or I should say sunlight is actually quite beautiful this morning too.

And you can see as far as the eye can see, but it’s empty as can be. And yes, I eat green eggs and ham!

Hey, why don’t we go check out how it looked one year ago today? Dang….. looks pretty freakin’ Epic to me!!!
So much that September 2oth of 2021 will be considered a much greater day than the 20th of 2022, no doubt.
I mean, look at Jett-i-mon!!! So little just a year ago…
And still getting shacked! Yeah little buddy wherever you are right now. I think he’s back in CA…. the kids a world wide surf traveler…. NO JOKE!
I was curious and even pulled up that magic 2020 year just to see how it looked then. Yup, just as I thought, Jenny getting slotted too, but with only maybe 5 other people out, the whole damn year!!! Certainly sucked for US!!!
And today we get poo poo colored mush! Ok, I’m not a complainer. Things COULD and should be a lot worse, and we send our prayers and thoughts to all of our family and friends in Puerto Rico right now!!!
